Elaso Grinding Wheel Balancing Systems
Elaso eb500 Balancing Processor
- Balance grinding wheels dynamically, using existing wheel flange weights
- Eliminate the costly, inaccurate method of manual balancing
- Constantly monitor rpm and unbalance in either displacement or velocity
- The processor calculates and displays the weights positions on the screen
- The operator moves the weights to the indicated positions
- Thanks to step by step guidance any operator can perfectly balance the grinding wheel
- Available as desktop unit or insert module for machine panels
- This unit is being phased out and is replaced with the ebm100 processor
Elaso ebm100 Balancing Processor

- Eliminate the costly, inaccurate method of manual balancing
- Constantly monitor rpm and unbalance in either displacement or velocity
- The processor calculates and displays the weights positions on the screen
- The operator moves the weights to the indicated positions
- Thanks to step by step guidance any operator can perfectly balance the grinding wheel
- Available as desktop unit or insert module for machine panels
Elaso eb2000/eb2000a Balancing System
- High quality balancing system at an economical price
- Easily retrofitted to surface, peripheral, and universal grinders
- Constantly monitor rpm and unbalance in either displacement or velocity
- LC-display guides operator through manual balancing at working spindle speeds
- Automatically balance grinding wheel with the eb2000a system
- No-contact power/signal transfer, dependable and simple use, requires no maintenance
Elaso ebg1500 Modular Balancing/Gap System
- Balancing and structure-borne sound system in modular design for highest demands
- Can also be used as a balancing processor guiding the operator in placing the wheel weights
- Control up to two balancing heads and up to four structure-borne sound sensors
- Interfaces with machine controllers for a fully automatic controlled grinder
- Structure-borne sound is displayed in relation to time, allowing an optimal process control
- Sound parameter "amplification" is also adjustable via interface
- Highly sensitive and fast acting to recognize the wheel with part contact within a few micrometers infeed
- Up to eight storable parameter records facilitate a quick change for recurring parts
- Many configurations are available to suit any given machine
- Application example for the Voumard 300 CNC internal grinder
Elaso eb4500 Dynamic Balancing System
- The eb4500 allows manual or fully automatic in-process balancing of grinding wheels
- Brush type or maintenance-free no-contact collectors are available
- Electrically isolated interface allows to communicate with a machine controller
- The machine controls therefore the balancing aspect without operator activity
- The eb4500 may be incorporated into a 19" rack
- Please Note: The eb4500 controller replaces all original Meyer Ltd. systems MB1001, MB1002, EB4001,
EB4002, EB4003, EB4004, EB5003, EB5004, and EB5005
Elaso eb6001 Dynamic Balancing System
- Balancing and structure-borne sound (acoustic emission control) system for highest demands
- Used for balancing grinding wheels, to increase production, and to monitor grinding processes
- Short production runs and/or high accuracy requirements are areas where this unit is utilized
- Highly sensitive, recognizes the contact between part and grinding wheel within a few micrometers infeed
- Unit will integrate with a machine controller
- Available with table top housing, remote operator interface, or for panel mounting
- This unit is being phased out and is replaced with the ebg1500 types
Elaso ems1100 (ems1000) Dynamic Balancing System
- The ems1000 is a modular balancing and structure-borne sound system
- Displays the unbalance and structure-borne sound data on the machine's operator display
- Integrated in the machine software, the unit is controlled through the machine operating system
- Control and display would be programmed by the machine builder to become a part of the machine
- The modular design permits a cost benefiting solution for each application
- Through ProfiBus, RS232, RS485 allows the ems1100 to easily communicate with the machine controller
- The ems1000 accepts up to six structure-borne sound sensors and up to two balancing heads
Elaso usc4000 Structure-Borne Sound Controller

- Process control for grinding machines utilizing structure-borne sound control
- Benefits are: reduces air grinding time, indicates parts positions, and is used for crash protection
- The sound signal is fed into two separate channels allowing each to be separately adjusted for offset and amplification
- Unit features extremely fast reaction time and offers three selectable filters for signal optimization
- Unit interfaces with machine controllers and allows installation in machine cabinets or operator panels
- OEM or after market installation, for details please ask us
